How Benefits works

Benefit items
Define individual benefits — Medical Insurance, Meal Allowance, Transport, Gym — with type, monetary value/coverage limit, and frequency.

Benefit packages
Bundle multiple items into a named package, e.g. "Executive Package", "Standard Package".

Employee allocations
Assign a benefit package to an employee with effective and expiry dates; the employee can then view/claim allocated benefits.

Benefit claims
Employee submits a claim; HR reviews. Workflow: Pending → Approved/Rejected → Paid, tracking claim amount vs entitlement.
